About This Soundtrack
Premiering on Showtime and Paramount+ on June 21, 2026, the second season of the high-stakes political and spy thriller series The Agency returns with Michael Fassbender starring as Martian, a covert CIA agent who operates in the shadows. The new season follows Martian as he continues to balance his real identity with his deep-cover persona, navigating a dangerous web of career-ending secrets and international conspiracies. The series, executive produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov, is based on the critically acclaimed French drama series Le Bureau des Lรฉgendes.
The atmospheric and suspenseful musical score for The Agency Season 2 is composed by the acclaimed French pianist and composer Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (nominated for a BAFTA for her score in Living). Her hybrid orchestral and modular synthesizer work creates a brooding, tense sonic identity that perfectly matches the show's dark espionage themes. The soundtrack is further enhanced by a curated selection of licensed songs, featuring tracks like Jack White's opening titles track 'Love Is Blindness', Nine Inch Nails' emotional ending credits song 'Hurt', Fiona Apple's 'Why Try to Change Me Now', and Lizzo's 'About Damn Time'.
