Directed by Óscar Pedraza and written by Sofía Cuenca, the film is a direct adaptation of the bestselling novel 'Marfil' by Mercedes Ron, which serves as the first book in her popular 'Enfrentados' duology. The story follows Marfil Cortés (played by Ester Expósito), the wealthy daughter of a powerful Spanish businessman living a high-profile life in New York. After surviving a traumatizing kidnapping and being mysteriously released, her overprotective father hires the enigmatic and quiet bodyguard Sebastián Moore (played by Hugo Diego García) to watch her every move. As Marfil and Sebastián travel to Spain, a volatile, intense attraction develops between them, forcing them to navigate dangerous family secrets and imminent threats. The main cast also features Eric Masip, Pablo Molinero, Zoe Bonafonte, Lluís Homar, and Joaquín Ferreira.
