“Music is universal. Even if you don't understand the words, you can feel the energy.”

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, born March 10, 1994, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor who became one of the most commercially successful and culturally influential musical figures of the 2020s. Beginning his career uploading tracks to SoundCloud while working as a grocery store clerk, he rose to international prominence with hits like 'Soy Peor' and collaborations with Cardi B and Drake. His style combines traditional reggaeton and Latin trap with alternative pop and electronic music, establishing his status as a leading global performer.

His debut studio album, *X 100pre* (2018), received critical acclaim, followed by a string of record-breaking releases including *YHLQMDLG* (2020) and *El Último Tour Del Mundo* (2020), which made history as the first all-Spanish-language album to top the US Billboard 200 chart. In 2022, his third album, *Un Verano Sin Ti*, achieved massive worldwide success, spending 13 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 and becoming the first Spanish-language album to receive a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year, further solidifying his global appeal.

Beyond his achievements in music, Bad Bunny has expanded his presence in cinema and television. He made his Hollywood acting debut in the 2022 action thriller *Bullet Train* alongside Brad Pitt, playing the role of the vengeful assassin The Wolf. He also appeared in the drama *Cassandro* (2023) and has contributed songs to numerous major soundtracks. Known for his eclectic fashion, support for social causes, and boundary-pushing music videos, he continues to redefine the boundaries of Latin music on the global stage.
